Painted By Hoagy Carmichael in 1976 from a black and white photo taken in 1911, "Constitution Elm" depicts the Corydon, Indiana setting where the State of Indiana Constitution was written in June of 1816.  
Hoagy's 5' X 7' masterpiece hangs at the west end of the second floor hallway of the IMU.
