My favorite pieces at the William Hammond Mathers Museum of World Cultures in Bloomington
The woodcarvings depict the artist's recollections of a picnic excursion for the families
of Cummins Engine employees.
   He was 8 years old when the train carried families from Columbus, Indiana to Cincinnati, Ohio
for a paddle wheel boat ride to Coney Island.
